[惜食之星 The Star of Food Wise]

希望改善同學浪費食物的不良習慣。
Students had a bad habit of wasting food.
想像 Imagine:
找出浪費食物成因、改善方法、宣傳方法等。
The causes of food waste, improvement methods and publicity methods were identified.
實行 Do:
利用影片及海報介紹活動,每周及每學段結算各班的平均廚餘重量,並定期公佈惜食之星班級,以獎勵機制鼓勵同學養成惜食好習慣,減少廚餘。
Video and poster were used to promote this project. The average amounts of food waste in each class were calculated weekly and semesterly. The stars of food wise were regularly announced to encourage students to develop good habits of cherishing food and reducing food waste through a reward mechanism.

The project was shared with teachers and students through promotional videos, posters and school broadcasts. They were willing to cooperate and be kind to the environment.

發現學校的廁所十分骯髒,而且女同學使用衛生巾時很不方便。
The school toilets were very dirty and it was inconvenient for female students to use sanitary napkins.
想像 Imagine:
採用廢紙、消毒地氈及茶包去解決洗手間的問題。
Waste papers, disinfectant mats and tea bags were used to solve the toilet issues.
實行 Do:
採用廢紙包著衞生巾,並用膠紙貼穩。消毒地氈去解決「鞋子變得骯髒」的問題。茶包去解決「洗手間有異味」的問題。結果厠所的環境變得更加潔淨,讓同學能有更衞生的學習環境。
Sanitary napkins were wrapped in waste paper and secured with tape. Disinfectant mats were used to address the issue of dirty shoes. Tea bags were used to address the problem of unpleasant smell in the toilets. After that, the toilets became cleaner. A more hygienic learning environment was provided for students.

發現同學們在體育課上感到體力不支,課間感到無聊,久坐後身體發僵。
Students felt physically exhausted during PE class. They felt bored during breaks. They felt stiff after sitting for long periods.
想像 Imagine:
想到的方法包括課間操集體改良、設置運動挑戰區、遙控小車搭載“運動任務卡”。
The proposed methods included collectively improving recess exercises, setting up sports challenge zone, and using remote-controlled cars with "cards of exercise tasks".
實行 Do:
到教師辦公室收集廢紙,列印宣傳海報和任務卡。在遙控車裝上籃子,擺放任務卡及工具,運動任務包括跳繩一分鐘、俯臥撐一分鐘、開合跳一分鐘、引體向上一分鐘及200米計時。遙控車靈活穿梭校園,讓同學與搭擋一起完成任務,既可鍛鍊身體,又能增進友誼。
Waste papers were collected from the teachers' office and used to print posters and task cards. Baskets were attached to the remote-controlled cars. The task cards and tools were placed on the cars. Tasks included one minute of rope jumping, one minute of push-ups, one minute of jumping jacks, one minute of pull-ups, and a 200-meter running. The remote-controlled cars were flexibly moved in the campus and students could complete tasks with their partners to improve physical fitness and foster friendships.

希望小息時能夠在安靜舒適的環境中溫習,但課室太嘈吵。
Students wanted to study in a quiet and comfortable environment during their break time, but the classroom is too noisy.
想像 Imagine:
為同學創造一個配備基本設施的自學角落。
Created a self-learning corner with basic infrastructure for students.
實行 Do:
清理了學校的儲藏室,並重新擺放桌椅,然後從每個課室的失物招領箱中收集了一些文具。學生輪流在自學角落值班,照顧其他同學。為安全起見張貼了規則,提醒學生哪些行為是允許的及不被允許的。
The storage room at school was cleaned and some tables and chairs inside were rearranged. Then, some stationeries from the lost and found box from each classroom were collected. Students took turns staying at the self-learning corner and looking after the students there. For safety, rules were posted to remind the students of the dos and don'ts.
