Ma'am Deki Choden is the Founding Principal of ELC High School and the Founding Country Coordinator for DFC Bhutan. She is a passionate leader with the 'I CAN' mindset and an inspiring figure to guide the DFC Team in Bhutan. Since 2010, under her leadership, DFC Bhutan has spread to all corners of Bhutan and has given birth to many Change Makers.

Mr. Sonam Norbu is an Edupreneur, social worker and a lifelong learner. Sonam has been a teacher for 12 years. Currently he has founded VTOB Educational Solutions and Services which comprises of a community based organization, an institute and few social enterprises that aims to enhance educational engagements to nurture active citizens through consistent quality services that are innovative, problem solving, relevent and affordable.

Sonam has led the Techer volunteers group of 6000 plus teachers in 2020 wherein the team volunteered to provide continued education to more than 1,70,000 students during the school closures due to the pendermic.

he has a Masters in Education Studies from University of Canberra, Australia. Sonam is trying to complement and supplement the mainstream education as well as support youth engagement and create employeement opportunities.

Ms. Choening Wangmo is a recent graduate aspiring to pursue a career in any field that excites her. She did her Bachelors degree in BSC. Environmental Science from Sherubtse College under Royal University of Bhutan.

Choening loves to volunteer for social works. She likes to explore, learn and expand her knowledge in any field.

Ms. Namgay Dolkar currently works at VTOB Educational Solutions and Services. She did her Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Sociology from Royal Thimphu College in Bhutan.

As a student of social work and enthusiatic soul to various social issues, Namgay believes in lifelong learning. She is an articulate and conscientious person who is passionate on topics pertaining to migration, gender equality, human rights, volunteerism, life skills, positive change and social justice.

Namgay believes that learning to read and write is obviously noot just enough. it is much important to learn through variety of ways, face challenges and go beyond textbooks - to understand real life problems, situations, engage with communities and the environment.
